Registered business name: Appsycamorefield Mining Review

Established: 2019

Registered office: Office 10, 29 Test-ro, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon 00000, South Korea

Our History

Appsycamorefield Mining Review began in 2019 when founder Dae-sung Kim left a hardware distributor role after seeing repeated cases of pilot mining rooms purchasing rigs that exceeded their electrical contracts. The first year involved testing fourteen ASIC models on a rented floor in Yeongtong-gu, Suwon, building the thermal and acoustic benchmark protocols we still use today.

By 2021, we had completed assessments for twelve pilot rooms across Gyeonggi Province. The Incheon logistics hub project — matching 0.08 computing power rigs to a converted storage room — became our reference case for constrained-space installations.

In 2023, we expanded benchmark testing capacity with a second review floor and added GPU array testing for clients running mixed hardware pilot rooms. We remain independent: no hardware sales, no supplier commissions, no affiliate relationships with mining pools.

Our Approach

Every assessment starts with the room, not the equipment catalogue. We measure what your space can support before recommending what to buy. Reports include data that procurement teams can attach to internal approval documents — thermal maps, power draw tables, and acoustic readings with timestamps.

We work primarily with operations managers, facility teams, and small mining cooperatives running pilot rooms before committing to larger warehouse deployments.

Team

Dae-sung Kim — Lead assessor. Fifteen years in industrial hardware distribution before founding Appsycamorefield. Certified thermographer.

Soo-yeon Han — Benchmark technician. Runs our 72-hour hashrate testing protocols and maintains reference hardware inventory.

Jin-woo Lee — Procurement advisor. Former import logistics coordinator for electronics entering Korea through Incheon Port.

Values

Independence from hardware vendors. Transparent methodology published in our field notes. Honest reporting when equipment underperforms manufacturer claims — we have returned negative findings to clients who then avoided costly purchases.

Community

We participate in the Gyeonggi SME energy efficiency working group, contributing data on pilot room power consumption patterns. Our Suwon office welcomes scheduled visits from operations teams preparing their first pilot room assessment.
